Sports/school physicals   May 1, 2013

New York State requires that the following students must have a current New York State physical:

• Any new student to the district
  
• Any student in Kindergarten, second, fourth, seventh, and tenth grade
• Any student in grades 7-12 that will be participating in a sport.  (Sports participants must have a physical each year) 

Bridget Quibell RPA from Tri-County Medical will be assessing the students on May 1st.

If you would like your child to receive a physical at school, please contact the nurse at 295-7471 ext. 1136.

Congratulation to Hellen Clancy, this month's athlete of the month.  Hellen is a member of the varsity girls track team.

Sports physical forms are now available in the document section found on the left menu listing on this page.

Arkport is a member of the Steuben-Allegany Athletic Council, which governs interscholastic sports
competition among its member school districts. This year we may field varsity, junior varsity and modified
teams in the following sports. Please contact Athletic Director, Dale Steiner, for confirmation on the levels
of a sport being offered. Teams are fielded subject to the number of students signing up for a sport.

• Track
• Cheerleading
